Ripple Joins Veterans Charity Drive, Matches Donations With XRP and RLUSD

Ripple has announced it is joining a national charity initiative tied to the 250th anniversary of US independence, pledging to match donations made to a nonprofit that helps military veterans find jobs. The company said it will match contributions of up to $10,000 to the Call of Duty Endowment, with donors able to give in cash, stock, or cryptocurrency, including XRP and RLUSD.

Ripple backs Giving4th campaign

The initiative, called Giving4th, is organized by America250 and aims to turn Independence Day into a recognized national day of charitable giving, according to Ripple’s announcement on X. Ripple confirmed its participation in a post on July 4, 2026, stating: “Ripple is joining #Giving4th — @America250’s new movement to make Independence Day a national day of charitable giving. We’re matching donations to @CODE4Vets up to $10K. CODE funds the most effective organizations helping veterans get back to work, preparing them for the job…”

By committing to match donations, Ripple is positioning itself alongside other companies contributing to the broader Giving4th campaign timed to the United States’ semiquincentennial. The Fourth of July, which commemorates the 1776 adoption of the Declaration of Independence, has been a federal holiday for well over a century, but this year’s Giving4th push seeks to add a philanthropic dimension to the celebration nationwide.

Call of Duty Endowment’s veteran employment mission

The Call of Duty Endowment, the nonprofit receiving Ripple’s matched donations, says it has already helped more than 165,000 veterans secure employment since its founding. Despite that track record, the organization has flagged persistent unemployment challenges among younger veterans, stating there is “still more work to do” to close the gap.

The endowment has set a goal of finding jobs for 200,000 veterans by 2030. Ripple’s decision to fold cryptocurrency into the fundraising options for this campaign gives XRP and RLUSD holders a direct way to contribute using digital assets rather than traditional payment methods.

Crypto donations as a growing philanthropic channel

Ripple has a history of philanthropic activity tied to its native tokens, and enabling XRP and RLUSD as accepted currencies for the Call of Duty Endowment donations reflects a broader trend of crypto firms integrating charitable giving into their token ecosystems. By accepting stock and cash alongside crypto, the company appears to be widening the campaign’s reach to both traditional and crypto-native donors.

The Giving4th campaign and Ripple’s matching pledge come as the company continues to expand its footprint in payments infrastructure and stablecoin initiatives. Whether this charitable push will have any bearing on XRP’s market activity remains to be seen, but it underscores Ripple’s continued effort to link its brand with high-visibility, socially oriented causes.
