Indian State Telangana and Indian IT services provider Tech Mahindra have jointly announced the blockchain accelerator program called T-Block Accelerator, The Hindu Business Line reported first.
In 2018, Tech Mahindra signed an agreement with the Telangana government to develop a blockchain district ecosystem.
The four-month, the T-Block Accelerator program’s goal is to invest in startups with strong business and blockchain use cases, according to Telangana ‘Blockchain District’ website.
The Hindu Business Line report quoted Global Practice Leader, Blockchain, TechM, Rajesh Dhuddu, “The start-ups will receive mentorship and guidance from leading experts in the start-up and blockchain space. The programme includes workshops, presentations and discussions.”
Telangana’s T-Block Accelerator Program
The accelerator aims to induct 25 startups. Out of these 25 startups, five startups will be selected for the next phase. Registration is already open since Monday 3rd February 2020. Post-registration there will be intensive training for four weeks.
The experts from the government of Telangana, Tech Mahindra, C-DAC, and IIIT Hyderabad will mentor the startups.
